We have not heard of Libya, Muammar Gaddafi, president for quite some time, but the Wednesday, September 23 made news with a long speech to the United Nations. His speech was full of accusations and convictions against some of the practices of the United Nations and some of the measures taken by the United States. Gaddafi's speech was sometimes difficult to follow because they praise one thing, but a moment later speak out against something else. Gaddafi also offers an interesting solution to bring peace to Israelis and Palestinians.
To solve the Jewish - Muslim difficulty, President Qaddafi proposed a non-religious state called Isratine. He feels that the new country should be democratic and is not influenced by religious fanatics. For many diplomats who have spent years trying to understand and solve the problems of the Middle East, Qadhafi a dictator for a long time, proposing a democratic nation not only hypocritical but ridiculous. He might have also proposed that can control all the stations in Nassau Bahamas.
Gaddafi's rant against the Security Council sounded a bit more fair. He complained that the permanent members of the Security Council: United States, Britain, China, France and Russia had an unfair advantage for the rest of the world. He complained that these five countries deserve a permanent veto power in the rest of the council. He said that Africa deserved a permanent member of the Security Council. Maybe I should have asked to see if all parts of the world could have a seat on the Security Council, perhaps the people close to the resorts of Jamaica wants representation on the Security Council.
The request to the United Nations to investigate some of the tragedies that have taken place in the United States was the most ridiculous request.
